From that day on I go to each door in turn and sing the three songs that I remember from school. Within a few days I'm overwhelmed how happy they appear to be when they hear or recognize me.

About This Quote

Being introverted, I was not good at any social interaction. Although I was able to make friends in school, I did not have close friends back then. But when I performed at the school and heard the students singing my songs, I realized that they were not just my songs but they were their songs. For them I was a friend and we talked about all the fun we had when we were in school together and we sang and danced in front of our teachers and fellow students.
